Impact

Communication and Creativity has reached the lives of many over the past three years through a range of innovative arts-based research methods.

Find out more about the project's impact in Kenya, Uganda and the UK through a collection of short films and spotlight features.

Featuring members of the Walukuba community in Jinja, Uganda, the films highlight the benefits of long-term embedded community work and deep individual engagement.

The films were a collaboration between Principal Investigator Dr Matthew Elliott, Project Manager Brenda Mawerere and local film company Urban Shoots. The filming was supported by the School of Performance and Cultural Industries research fund at the University of Leeds.
